Fibre to the Cabinet is a term for a broadband connection using optical fibre to replace part of the connection to an exchange. With FTTC the optical fibre replaces the copper from the street cabinet to the exchange, in practise this allows for much higher speeds as the length of the copper is much shorter and also boasts increased stability over its ADSL counterpart.
FTTC 40:10 offers speeds of “up to 40Mbps” downstream and “up to 10Mbps” upstream.
FTTC 80:20 offers speeds of “up to 80Mbps” downstream and “up to 20Mbps” upstream.
The technology used over the copper part of the service is VDSL2, so any router connected to the service requires to be VDSL2 compliant.
FTTC 160:30 offers speeds of “up to 160Mbps” downstream and “up to 30Mbps” upstream.
FTTC 330:50 offers speeds of “up to 330Mbps” downstream and “up to 50Mbps” upstream.
The technology used over the copper part of the service is GFast, so any router connected to the service requires to be GFast compliant or have an additional GFast modem connected. Speeds for all services are location dependent.
Fibre to The Premises – A Fibre all the way to the end user’s premises (no copper) – available in areas where full fibre infrastructure already exists in the street. Due to the whole circuit being Fibre, we can offer higher speeds with higher rates of reliability
Offering a range of speeds that are not affected by distance between the customer premises and BT's exchange. Availability is location dependent. Speeds, offered in Mbps, are
The speeds above for FTTP are the actual line rates of the FTTP service. They are not dependent on the distance from the exchange.

Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) services are ideal for customers that want dedicated site-to-site connectivity with data priority with increased security. As MPLS services give superior routing and functionality of standard WAN connections, they are ideal for linking your Head Office and Datacentre with Branch Offices and Partners. Depending also on the bandwidth required, you can also get your DIA delivered via a single optic fibre with your MPLS services enabling you to save on installation cost.
Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) is a routing technique in telecommunications networks that directs data from one node to the next based on short path labels rather than long network addresses, thus avoiding complex lookups in a routing table and speeding traffic flows
